Zebra Nails

A little while ago Madness Nails showed me a zebra stripe mani that she did and I immediately knew I wanted to try it. I practiced on my nail wheel and actually found the stripes really easy to do with a striping brush. I was shocked at how easy it was and how absolutely cool it looked when it was done. I was SO in love with these nails!

I started off with my usual base coat of Tip Top Miraculous Results. I painted two coats of essence pink & proud on my thumb, index and pinky and two coats of Sinful Colors Black On Black on my middle and ring nails. I used my black Madame Zingara striping brush to make random V shapes and stripes starting on the left/right side of my nail towards the centre, lessening the pressure on the brush to make the line thinner before I stopped painting it. I used another short striping brush I bought from Planet Nails and pink & proud to make stripes on the black nails. I sealed everything in with Seche Vite and voila! Zebra nails!

I didn’t grow tired of these nails at all. They lasted about 4 days without a chip at which point I had to take them off to do my next mani. What do you think? Do you like animal print nails? I know a lot of people just don’t like it at all. I have to say, I am not one of those people!
