Purple Bow Peep you Treasure

Purchased Myself Button

Hi everyone! The mani I have to show you today was inspired by a pin I found on Pinterest.  Unfortunately Liloo’s blog isn’t in English, but there sure are pretty pictures to look at and a picture was all I needed for inspiration. I decided to use different colours and I did not have enough clear rhinestones to make it look the same, so I replaced them with studs. This is my version:

Nubar Treasure Tip Top Purple Bow Peep

Nubar Treasure Tip Top Purple Bow Peep

Nubar Treasure Tip Top Purple Bow PeepI started off with my usual Tip Top base coat to protect my natural nails. I painted 3 coats of Nubar Treasure on all of my nails. Nubar isn’t a brand we get consistently over here, so when I do spot them in Clicks I pick up whatever I like because I’m never sure when I will find them again. I really like Nubar polishes, I haven’t had a bad experience with them yet. Treasure is a light purple scattered holographic polish. It seems extremely sheer when you paint it, but it builds up really well. On my ring nail I used Tip Top Purple Bow Peep and the polish brush to add the creme on the tip. I just freehanded it. Once it was a little tacky I started placing 1 mm gold studs I purchased from Born Pretty Store (purchase here*) along the line dividing the polishes. When I got to the middle I added a 2 mm stud and then continued with the 1 mm studs. I sealed everything in with a coat of Seche Vite.

I really loved this mani! The Nubar wore really well and I loved the soft purple that came alive in the sun.

What do you think of this mani? Do you think I did the original justice? I would love to hear your opinion in the comments below.

Thanks for reading!
