It has been a while since I’ve been this excited about a specific polish. I had to wait till Easter was over before I could whip it out. I really didn’t enjoy my Easter manis and was feeling really meh about my nails in general. I felt like I needed to tone it down and take a break from the “busy” nails and just do something very simple. This polish is so beautiful it doesn’t need a lot of frills to impress. Let’s get to it then!
I started off with a base coat of OPI Nail Envy and painted all my nails with two coats of China Glaze Just Be-Claws. I used a gold pyramid stud from Born Pretty Store on my ring and middle nails and sealed it all in with Sally Hansen Insta Dri. The results:
Just Be-Claws was part of the Happy Holiglaze 2013 Christmas Collection and I can see why. I can definitely see this being pulled out come Christmas time! I also think this will look stunning with gold/silver stamping over it. My camera really didn’t want to pick up the gorgeous strong shimmer in this polish. I promise it is there and it is STUNNING! There are some awesome swatches online and a few of them show the true beauty of this polish. The Manicurator swatched the whole collection and has a great swatch up. I loved this mani and it had me staring at my nails again. This polish also promises to be a great stamper and I have a couple of ideas for that.
What do you think of this colour? It is a very bold red and I’ve received good feedback from those who have seen me wearing it. Would you try it?
