Hi everyone! I have a special post for you today 🙂  One of the Nail Anarchy members is getting hitched! This afternoon, in fact! SO MUCH OF EXCITEMENT! A little heads up, I changed my nail shape. Completely. I have a few posts drafted with my previous nail shape, so you’ll be seeing a mixed bag until April. The back story is that I have been struggling to file my nails correctly. I have some weird curvy nails that only curve on one side and my nails also seem to expand and contract throughout the day, causing them to look like they have been filed skew, which they probably were although they might have looked even when I filed them. So I decided to ditch the shape and try something new. I was trying to fix them to the point where I was unintentionally heading to stilettoville. In other words, I proper messed them up.  So my sidewalls are still a little slanted and I’m growing that out now, but I’m trying out the squovals and giving them a fair chance. I digress.

Thea from Madness Nails is getting married! She has been out of action for a while because of the wedding plans and other things going in in her life. I am really hoping that she’ll be back in the saddle after her honeymoon because she is stupid talented and I LOVE her nail art! A bunch of us got together to do a mani for her to celebrate the occasion. We were told what the themes and colours for her wedding are and given free reign. This is what I came up with:

I combined the colours for their wedding, part of the theme (swallows) and the rings given to each other to put together this mani. I started off with my usual Tip Top base coat and painted 2 coats of Nubar Berry Intense on my pinkie and ring nails. On my index and middle nails I painted 2 coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. Once that was dry I used a swallow decal I bought from Lucky Star Style on my middle nail. I used the saran (cling) wrap method to dab white onto my pinkie and Berry Intense on my index nail. On my ring nail I overlapped two “doughnut” studs  purchased from Born Pretty Store (purchase here*)to represent interlocking rings and their union. I added a rhinestone to make her ring sparkle 🙂 I sealed it all in with a coat of Dashing Diva Top Seal and voila!

Happiest of wedding days friend! I hope it is everything you dreamed of!

We’ve arranged a linkup for everybody taking part, check out everyone else’s manis below!
