Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Kiss

Gift Button

Hi everyone! I have another gift from Pish Posh Polish to show you today. Yes. I know. The epic nail mail is the gift that keeps on giving! I was totally blown away to find a Deborah Lippmann polish in my gift box. I had heard of the brand via the international blogging circuit, but never ever thought I would own one! Honestly, in the bottle this polish did not give me the feels and I used others ahead of it that I thought I would like more. When I finally got around to using it, it was love at first coat. This polish is SO beautiful it is definitely on my favourites in my collection list. Deborah Lippmann Mermaid's KissDeborah Lippmann Mermaid's KissDeborah Lippmann Mermaid's KissI started off with Revlon Calcium Gel Nail Hardener as a base coat to protect my nails. I painted 2 coats of Deborah Lippmann Mermaid’s Kiss on all of my nails. Mermaid’s Kiss is a rosy pink glittery base with a strong pink shimmer and dark pink glitter throughout. Man. Wow. The pink shimmer in the polish is strong and you can easily see it, even though the base is gold and sparkly. The formula on this polish was great. I didn’t have issues with controlling it and didn’t even really need to clean up. Always a huge bonus for me. On my ring nail I used OPI Chic From Ears to Tail and a dotting tool to dot flower petals and in the middle I dotted Maskscara Gold Finger for the centers of the flowers. Usually I would do more than one accent nail, but I couldn’t bear to cover up any more of this gorgeous polish. I sealed everything in with a coat of Seche Vite.

I must say, few things please me more than being surprised by a polish. I really love painting and falling in love with a polish while I do so. There’s something special about that for me. I absolutely adored wearing this polish and will definitely look for an opportunity to wear it again.

I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
