Hi everyone! A very blessed Christmas to all my readers who celebrate. To those who don’t, I hope you’ve enjoyed the day off and to those colleagues that stand in for us so that we can have the day off, thank you!
I just wanted to pop up a post to show you my Christmas nails, so it is going to be short and sweet 🙂
I started off with my usual Tip Top base coat. I painted my thumb, index and pinkie with 1 coat of Revlon Red. I really love this red creme. It is very opaque and the formula is pretty good. Over Revlon Red I painted 1 coat of Golden Rose red glitter. I just can’t find a name on this bottle, but I can tell you I bought it at Clicks and that they still carry the brand. This glitter has different sizes of red hex glitters suspended in a clear base. You could get it opaque on its own in about 3 or 4 coats, but since I didn’t have too much time on my hands I decided to give it undies because I didn’t want to have too many coats to dry. On my middle and ring nails I painted 2 coats of Sally Hansen Sugar Fix. I have been absolutely obsessed with this white texture this December. The formula is really great and it dries superbly. My intention was to just leave it at that, but the white looked very stark, so with a little help from my Nail Anarchy friends I decided to stamp over the white. I used China Glaze Santa Red My List and the top image of PUEEN 38 to stamp over the dried texture. I sealed in the glittery nails with a coat of Seche Vite. The result:
This mani really looked better with the stamping over the white and I remembered that I bought this white specifically to stamp over. Duh. I’m not sure why I didn’t think of it myself.
What do you think of this mani? How was your Christmas/holiday? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!
