Hi everyone! It’s time for the next installment of the Bridal Nails series I’m doing with the Hean Wedding Garden collection. The lovely Gael from Glamore Cosmetics sent me two Hean polishes from the Wedding Garden collection to swatch for her. After swatching the first polish for their site I immediately ordered the rest of the collection and came up with the idea for this short series. The polish I’m showing today was also sent to me by Gael and it is another beauty. Just have a look:
Shown above is 4 coats of 637 over a base coat with no top coat. This polish is an off white jelly that has a very soft hint of pink and is jam packed full of silver holographic shimmer. The shimmer leaves the polish with a pearlescent finish which is oh so very bridal and reminds me of satin. As promised I did some nail art to compliment the polish. This is what I came up with:
I started off with my usual Tip Top base coat and added 4 coats of 637 for the swatches above. I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White and the bottom image of PUEEN 33 to stamp on all my nails except my ring which I stamped with the same image and Tip Top Armour Plate. Personally I prefer the white stamping over this polish as it stands out more. The silver kind of disappears in the strong shimmer of 637, but it is still visible and maybe an option if you want something “barely there”.
I really loved this mani. Regular readers of my blog know that I seldom push through to 4 coats with a polish unless I deem it totally worth it and in this case I really do. I still had visible nail line after 3 coats and even after 4, but it was opaque enough even for my fussy eye. You can see it if you look at the index nail on the swatch photos. The stamping obscured it completely too, so it really didn’t bother me in the least. I think these nails are absolutely perfect for a bride and I am so very happy to add this polish to my collection. I have nothing else like this.
