Hello everyone! Today I have the 3rd installment of my short Bridal Nails series using the Hean Wedding Garden collection. Today I have 640 to show you. Let’s dive right into the swatches 🙂
Shown above is 3 coats over a base coat with no top coat. 640 is a mint polish that has a strong suggestion of blue. I found that my perception of the colour changed if I held my nails against different backgrounds. Next to a soft blue it looked very green, next to a teal, more minty. You be the judge 😉 This polish was quite opaque, but I still felt it needed 3 coats to even out the colour and cover any unevenness. As you can see it dries to a nice shiny finish even without a top coat. As usual the formula was really good and I didn’t have any problems. As with all the others I wanted to add something to this to make it pop. I thought a nice glitter accent would go beautifully with this polish and this is what happened:
I started off with my usual Tip Top base coat and then 3 coats of 640. I topped off my middle and ring nails with one coat of essence glorius aquarius and sealed it all in with a coat of Dashing Diva Top Seal. I wasn’t sure if this look was subtle enough to be considered bridal, but we’re not all french manicure kind of girls, are we? I know of someone who got married in a tutu and a denim shirt. Let us unleash the funky brides! I got married before I was into nails and I had a plain french mani on my fingers and toes for my wedding day. This is the most classic look, but times are changing and I hope to inspire some fun bridal nail art for future brides 🙂 Bridal does not have to be boring, plain or muted 😀
