7 things about myself?


I turn 30 this year. I think I’m expected to throw a party, but I’m not sure if I will.


I have been working for the same company since I left school almost 11 years ago. Loyal much?


I thought I was a dog person, until I got a cat. I thought I was a cat person, until I had a baby. Now…I’m not sure whether I want any pets once our dear Amber has left us. Cats might be less maintenance and all, until they start shedding E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E.


I developed allergies while I was pregnant, they still plague me.


I am quite a jealous person. It’s a flaw in my personality. Love me anyway.


I was so impatient to get a Blackberry that I bought one myself about 5 months before my upgrade. I don’t regret it and can’t wait to get a better one! (I have the Curve 8520)


I feel that I am being very honest and real online. I feel like I am being myself, yet I am always afraid that I will not live up to people’s expectations when they meet me in person. Is that normal? Perhaps this is a self esteem issue (of which I have many).


I don’t often read blogs anymore, so I very rarely discover new blogs, but there are blogs that I really enjoy, so I’ll list them here. They are in no particular order.


Angelsmind – Angel…is exactly that. She is a wonderful friend and a beautiful person.


Cath – Cath is an old soul. A complicated, deep and compassionate woman. She has supported me in times I didn’t even know I needed it.


ExMi - I really enjoy her writing style. I have been reading her blog for a long time and will continue to do so.


Sheena – Sheena is a bundle of fun and often hilarious. Good reading!


Wenchy – One of the first blogger I met IRL, she was also unknowingly intrumental in me meeting Angelsmind


Leebeesa – Animal lover/activist and a very good friend. She is kind and loving.


Megan – We have a secret life that we share


MeeA – She talked me into giving natural birth when I was scared out of my mind. It took some doing. She is special!


mommanats – She’s been a friend and follower of mine for the longest time


The Cupcake Lady – ONE of Angel’s other blogs, will be sure to get you drooling on any given day!


cazpi - An awesome up and coming photographer, a wonderful mom and a great friend.


Blindcripple – A little bit of everything. A guy with feelings that isn’t scared to express them. Refreshing.


Drikus – Another amazing photographer and a really sweet guy.


Alidaonline – I first met her at Angel’s wedding and later discovered her blog, which I love to read!


Andre – Photographer of beautiful Capetonian landscapes, Nikon enthusiast and a perfect gentleman.
